Edward F. Reda, M.D., F.A.A.P., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Edward Reda is the Director of Pediatric Urology at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, New York, and Associate Professor of Urology at New York Medical College in Valhalla.
He completed his urology residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a Fellowship in Pediatric Urology at the Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Reda is board certified in urology and a Fellow of both the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is the author of numerous scientific articles and textbook contributions in the field of pediatric urology. Dr. Reda has distinguished himself as an outstanding reconstructive pediatric urologic surgeon and is frequently asked by his peers to help them with difficult reconstructive surgical cases.
He is a founding member of the spina bifida specialty clinic at the Westchester Medical Center and is a key participant of the bladder exstrophy support group at the Medical Center.
Dr. Reda’s special interest is the reconstructive surgery of children with difficult hypospadias, exstrophy and epispadias problems, as well as those requiring bladder and bowel augmentations and urinary incontinence procedures. He has volunteered as an expert to the country of Viet Nam, where he has assisted and instructed Vietnamese physicians in the reconstruction of severe hypospadias and other penile malformations.
