Emily Cupelli, M.A., C.P.N.P.
Emily T. Cupelli is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with expertise in Pediatric Urology, Biofeedback therapy and Primary Care Pediatrics. She has a passionate interest in helping children overcome difficulties with incontinence and related problems, working closely with area Pediatricians and with the Surgical Staff of PUA. Ms. Cupelli employs a strong understanding of multiculturalism in her interactions with children and families. She is currently conducting research into the role of sensory integration with urinary incontinence in school aged children at Maimonides Medical Center. Prior to joining PUA in 2000, Ms Cupelli practiced Primary Care in Peekskill and was on the faculty at Molloy College as coordinator of their PNP program.
Ms. Cupelli is certified by the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance as an expert in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation; is a member of Society of Urologic Nurses; Fellow in National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the National Honor Society of Professional Nursing.
Ms. Cupelli is a graduate of Binghamton University (B.S.), New York University (M.A.), Stony Brook University (Post Master’s Certificate), Stony Brook University (D.N.P., 2012). She is the parent of two grown children.
