Dr. Edward Reda is the Director of Pediatric Urology at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, New York. He completed his Urology residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1983 . Dr. Reda then completed a fellowship in Pediatric Urology at the Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Reda’s current academic appointment is as Associate Professor of Urology at New York Medical College in Valhalla.

Dr. Reda is Board Certified in Urology and is a member of the American College of Surgeons as well as of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is the author of numerous scientific articles and textbook contributions in the field of Pediatric Urology. Dr. Reda has distinguished himself as an outstanding reconstructive Pediatric Urology surgeon and is frequently asked by his peers to help them with difficult reconstructive surgical cases.

He is a founding member of the Spina Bifida specialty clinic at the Westchester Medical Center and is a key participant of the Bladder Exstrophy support group at the Medical Center.

Dr. Reda’s special interest is the reconstructive surgery of children with difficult Hypospadias, Exstrophy, and Epispadias problems as well as those requiring bladder and bowel augmentations and urinary incontinence procedures.
