Angela Sottile, R.N.
Angela has 15 years experience as a Registered Nurse at Pediatric Urology Associates. She is an integral part of the pediatric urology team involved with our surgical patients and their families, working under the supervision of our physicians. Angela provides perioperative care, helping patients and their families prepare physically and emotionally before, during, and after surgery. She examines patients during the post operative period, changing dressings, removing catheters and stents, and checking surgical sites for healing. She is extremely compassionate, detail oriented and dedicated to her patients.
Angela is also involved with families and children diagnosed with Neurogenic Bladder, including children with Spina Bifida, and Cerebral Palsy. She is highly skilled in teaching the technique of sterile catheterization to the children of Pediatric Urology.
Angela stays current in her field by attending seminars, lectures, conferences and grand rounds at the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York and Winthrop University Medical Center.
